New baristas alert! 🇦🇷🇮🇹

Meet Lucho — the first Argentinian-Italian to join the ROAST crew!
With a chef’s resume that spans restaurants in Argentina, Peru, Brazil, and Denmark (yes, including Copenhagen’s own Kødbyens Fiskebar), Lucho brings serious flavor to the team. 🤌🏻 After so many years in the kitchen he dived into another passion of his — coffee — took a couple of courses and even volunteered on a coffee plantation in Colombia and in a roastery in Ecuador. 🌱
Laid back, super funny, and constantly on the move, you’ll always find him doing something (even if he should take a break sometimes). 😁

Second addition to the ROAST team is Mila!
Born in Argentina, with Italian and Danish roots and a lot of barista experience — including working as a barista in Australia for a couple of years — Mila brings both skill and passion to every cup. ☕️
She’s fluent in Spanish, English, and Italian, with a goal to expand her Danish (feel free to engage in a conversation!), always ready with a warm smile and likely a joke on hand. Off the bar, she’s either translating scientific/literary texts (yes, really!) or taking care of her beloved tomatoes in a tiny window garden. 📚🍅
Come by, say hola (or hej!), swap garden tips, or just enjoy a really great coffee. 🤘🏻

Two new 50-50 coffees on the shelves! 🇷🇼🇵🇪

Our new RWA15 comes from Gitoki washing station, which is the latest addition to Baho Coffee in Gatsibo, Eastern Rwanda. Using the black honey process, the coffee is dried with most of its mucilage intact over 30–35 days, enhancing its natural sweetness. 🤤 Grown by smallholder farmers, this coffee offers a full-bodied cup with notes of grapefruit, raspberry, strawberry, and cherry. 🍒🍓

Gitoki is more than a station — it’s a symbol of agricultural transformation and new beginnings and we’re happy to share this coffee with you! 🎉

Our new Peru is produced by the Mamani Family at Finca Huertapata—a 3.5-hectare farm nestled in Cusco, Peru. ⛰️ Committed to continuous improvement, the family recently introduced Geisha, grown from origin-certified seeds to ensure exceptional quality. Today, the farm is run by the four Mamani brothers, fourth-generation coffee growers, with support from around 15 family members during the harvest season. 👨🏻‍🤝‍👨🏼

This Geisha delivers a smooth and balanced cup, with tasting notes of strawberry, honey, peach, chamomile, and caramel. 🍯🍑 It’s easily one of our current favorites on the shelf!
