We’re excited to present to you our mocha. ☕ Our espresso with 70 % Friis Holm chocolate — a rich, award-winning Danish chocolate known for its deep flavor and smooth finish — and your choice of milk, to create a perfectly balanced drink that’s both comforting and delicious.

Pro tip: Since Friis Holm’s chocolate is vegan by swapping dairy milk for an oat alternative you’ll get yourself a creamy vegan sweet treat. 😋

Say hello to Ethiopia BETTE BUNA — you’ve met it before in DUO44, but we loved it so much, it deserved its own spot on the shelf. 🎉

This lot comes from farmers in Taferi Kela, where cherries are delivered to Bette Buna’s washing station the same day they’re picked — keeping things fresh from the very beginning. 🌱

Founded in 2020 by husband and wife Dawit and Hester, Bette Buna continues a family legacy of coffee farming that spans nearly a century. Today, they operate across Guji, Yirgacheffe, Sidama, and Bench Maji, partnering closely with local producers to grow incredible coffee and create meaningful opportunities. 👨🏾‍🌾

The cup? Clean, vibrant, and everything we love about washed Ethiopian coffee — with bright orange-like acidity, rich chocolate, and juicy layers of raspberry. 🍫🍊🍓

You may have spotted it in some of our shops already (and you have definitely tasted the change in our hoppers and your morning coffees 🤫), we’re bringing new DUO44 you way!

2/3 Brazil Chapada Diamantina: pulped natural red and yellow Catuaí by Luca Allegro, grown at 1100 MASL

1/3 Ethiopia Sidamo: fully washed Heirloom by smallholder farmers, grown at 1950 MASL

This blend brings together body, sweetness and notes of chocolate and almonds from the Brazilian coffee with some strawberry notes and a twist of acidity from the Ethiopian beans. 🍫🍓

If you’ve walked into ROAST in the past few weeks and were greeted with a bright smile and an even brighter energy, chances are you’ve already met Kasia, the newest addition to the ROAST team from Poland. 🇵🇱

Kasia has lived all over Europe — Portugal, Switzerland, the Netherlands and now here in Denmark of course. She’s got plenty of experience behind the bar, whether it was as a bartender or a barista. 🍸 There’s always a story, a laugh, and a good chat coming your way when she’s behind the bar!

She is very creative person so outside of work, you’ll either find her behind a camera (very rarely in front of one 😁) capturing everyday life on the streets or doing some product photography (you can check her work on IG @kacha.cph) or doing some oil and acrylic paintings (very cool right?!). 📷 🎨

Bringing back some Ethiopian beans on the shelf! 🇪🇹

A beautiful natural coffee from the high-altitude farms of Guji — perfectly balanced with notes of strawberries, cherries and sweetness from chocolate and maple syrup. 🍓🍒🍫⁠

It was grown by 33 dedicated farmers from the Okoluu Farmers’ Group at elevations of 2,000–2,150m, using traditional farming methods. Intercropped with food crops and cultivated on small farms (just around 2 hectares each), the coffee was handpicked and left to dry on raised beds for up to 3 weeks.⁠

Guji, once overshadowed by neighboring Sidamo and Yirgacheffe, is now gaining global recognition for its unique profiles and exceptional coffee quality. With fertile soil, ample rainfall, and mountainous terrain, the region offers ideal conditions for specialty coffee.⁠

A truly vibrant cup from the heart of Ethiopia! 🌿
