We roast 3 times a week – and Mondays are the BIG days. This first day of the week is always dedicated to all our subscribers whose thirst for coffee never stops!

But what does it mean to be a subscriber?! Well:

If you are interested in coffee and want to learn more about it, listen up and come join us for our next cupping event🙆‍♀️ Every month, we host an evening of tasting different coffees at our roastery on Islands Brygge and everyone is welcome – no matter if you have experience or are simply interested in learning more!

We will introduce you to the exciting world of specialty coffee – from origin, cultivation and varietals to flavour, aroma and more. We will talk about the way we taste, and then of course also try some different coffees with you.

Jae were born and raised in Denmark, are fluent in Chinese (and also know the most important terms in German) and are suuuper excited about coffee – so much that they have their own espresso machine at home😎

🇧🇷NEW BRASILEIRO🇧🇷

We are super excited to introduce you to our new Brazilian coffee – this one’s a special one: BRA40 Fazenda Aranquã

Demeter-certified organic, biodynamic and selectively hand-picked – what else would you want!! Together with the farmer Luca Allegro, we’ve just started this beautiful partnership and got the first 4 tons (four. tons.) of beans delivered to our roastery.

Luca grows his coffee in the high mountains of Chapada Diamantina on his farm Fazenda Aranquã which is named after a bird worshiped by the indigenous people. Luca’s farming techniques follow certified organic and biodynamic guidelines: The coffee trees are shade-grown in an agroforest system to create an environment of biodiversity and the perfect microclimate for a slow ripening process.

The cherries are processed to pulped natural: After the pulping, a fair amount of mucilage is still attached to the beans when they are taken to the drying patios. The beans are revolved several times a day until 11.5% humidity is achieved. This drying process takes 15 to 17 days, and then the coffee is ready to be shipped!

We find beautiful flavour notes of chocolate, hazelnut and caramel in the cup. Prep yourself for the sweetest cup of coffee and come try it as an espresso or pour over😎✌️
