Say hi to our latest addition to the shelves – ETH20 Bette Buna💅

This natural processed coffee was super high grown at 2,100 MASL in Ethiopia’s famous Guji region. The coffee plants on this farm are surrounded by wild forest trees and the handpicked cherries were dried for 5 weeks in the farm’s semi-forest plots – spending half of the time in full sun exposure and half of the time shaded.

The locally grown bean varietals 74112 and Enat Buna come with taste notes of berries, milk chocolate and the typical Ethiopian florality🌸

It’s super delicate both as a filter brew and espresso – come by, give it a try!

Last weekend at the Danish Coffee Fest, Rocio and Liam represented ROAST in the national Latte Art Championship – and Liam scored 3rd place in Denmark!!!🥉

By pouring the judges’ given designs and their own free-pour designs in several rounds, they proved their amazing latte art skills and did some impressive stuff – let the pictures speak!🤩

We are very very proud of Rocio and Liam for being so brave to compete and for doing SO WELL – you guys ROCK! Big love❤️

We’ve got some really exciting news from the coffee front for you – with quite a beautiful story behind it!

Our latest natural-processed beans from Nicaragua were produced by an actual surgeon, Dr. Enrique Ferrufino. Growing up on a coffee farm, he decided to switch careers by going back to his roots, buying a farm in 2004 and producing great coffee together with his wife and kids ever since.

Finca Aurora is one of the first farms in Nicaragua with a fully integrated coffee operation on-site: The Ferrufino family produces, washes and dries the coffee directly at the farm. Their coffee is Rainforest Alliance certified, meaning the production focuses on climate-smart agriculture, a biodiverse growing environment and the use of organic fertilisers.

This Parainema lot, a dwarf variety from the Sarchimor family, is fruity and chocolatey in taste, typically with notes of stone fruit. The beans were grown at 1,400 metres altitude, handpicked and carefully dried for 25 days.

Come taste it as an espresso or pour over and emerge yourself in the sweetest notes of strawberry, chocolate and raisin🤤

🏋️‍♂️ROCIO AND LIAM ARE COMPETING🏋️‍♂️

This Saturday, 1st of June, our baristas Rocio and Liam will be competing in the Danish Latte Art Championship! The challenges to master: two identical free-pour lattes and two identical designer lattes. Precision is key!

Together they have been practicing steadily, both in their daily profession as baristas, but also in some additional training sessions to become better and better.

The winner will represent Denmark in the World Latte Art Championship at the World of Coffee (which will happen right here in Copenhagen end of June)!! So come down and cheer for them – we couldn’t be more proud and excited for them! 🇬🇹🤟🇰🇷
