Richard Muthike Kabaru used to be part of the Slopes of 8 producer group, but decided to continue on his own with the support of Kenyacof and their agronomists which has resulted in very high quality coffee with lovely notes of plume, berries and orange.
On the first Friday of every month, we have a cupping/coffee tasting event at our roastery in Islandsbrygge! The act of "cupping" is a method used internationally by specialists to taste and grade coffee. The "How and Why", you will discover during the tasting.
You will get the chance to try different roast profiles, sample-roasted coffee, various processing methods and coffees from different parts of the world. We will also be tasting new additions to the Roast Coffee range. Each class will be unique, but one thing that will always be consistent is, it will be a lot of fun! 👌
